ISN Community Film Event

Following its great success at WCN 2019, the ISN announces the 2nd edition of the ISN Community Film Event, hosted at the WCN ‘20.
At the ISN Community Film Event, short films on patient experiences and the life-changes that result from kidney disease are featured. As example, movies could tell patient stories about the changes that are result from CKD/dialysis, the reverse way of the impact of transplantation or education for patients on renal topics, such as commencing dialysis.
Similar to submitting an abstract, ISN members and/or partner societies are invited to submit their sort films. Non-member submissions should be submitted via a member.
Submissions will be reviewed by an expert jury. At the congress, 6 pre-selected films will be featured during a special ceremony, where WCN 2020 participants will vote for the best film to win the ISN Community Film Award.
Film Requirements
- Films must not be older than 2 years.
- Films should be no longer than 7 minutes.
- Technical parameters – films must be in 16:9 format, HD quality (1920x1080 resolution).
- By submitting the film, the author(s) agree(s) that the film will be screened at the ISN World Congress of Nephrology 2020 in Abu Dhabi, if pre-selected by the jury.
The deadline has been extended. Submissions should be uploaded through the link below, by January 3, 2020. The selected films will be announced by email, by Monday, January 20.
