The Global Kidney Policy Forum: Focus on the Middle East

Friday 27 March 2020, 8:00 to 11:30

The International Society of Nephrology (ISN) Global Kidney Policy Forum aims to bring together high-level decision-makers and stakeholders to address the burden of kidney disease in a particular country or region and share strategies for prevention and improved management of the disease at both the regional and global level.

During the first Global Kidney Policy Forum, which took place in April 2017, stakeholders interested in addressing the growing burden of kidney disease gathered to describe, discuss, and develop a set of 12 Recommendations to Global Kidney Health to guide future efforts to reduce the burden of kidney disease worldwide. Successive Global Kidney Policy are committed to the continued adherence to and advancement of the 12 Recommendations.

The Global Kidney Policy Forum: Focus on the Middle East will be the third in a series of ISN Policy Forum meetings that will take place at regular intervals. For the first time, it will be open to all World Congress of Nephrology delegates and the unique format will provide an opportunity to bring an international viewpoint on key kidney health challenges and opportunities affecting the Middle East. We call on all participants and interested stakeholders to attend the Global Kidney Policy Forum, bring their perspective on how to improve kidney heath in their region and renew their commitment to the 12 Recommendations to Global Kidney Health!
